[ When she receives it, long after trying to sort out her feelings and failing, she is tempted to tear it apart and throw it away, it seems appropriate. She deserves ten thousand of flowers for a murder attempt, she figures.

Still, she picks it up, slipping the note into a drawer and sticking the flower into one of her books as a bookmark.
